This was the result of one of my first Photoshop projects. It's a combination of a photo of my nephew, a close-up of a mushroom, and a picture of some woods. I faded the pictures of the mushroom and the forest into each other. Then, I used the Lasso tool to cut out my nephew and place him on top of the mushroom. After adjusting the colors of each layer to match each other, I added a shadow to my nephew so that it would appear that he was really sitting on the mushroom. |

The purpose of our third Photoshop project was to create a postcard. This was relatively simple to put together. The background image is just a plain picture of water that I made a little bluer. Then, I cropped the five photos to just include the main points of the photos. I created the text using the Text Effects in Photoshop to create the curve of the Sea World text. Finally, I applied a stroke to the text and then bevelled it. |

This image was from our last Photoshop project, which was to make a series of something. I chose to make a series of movie posters. This poster is a combination of the two pictures of people and the background scene. I applied a filter to the edge of the scene to give it a border and then I applied an outer glow. The people were "cut out" using the Mask tools in Photoshop and then added to the scene. Finally, I applied their shadows to the ground to complete the illusion. |

This image was one I had done of my friend's grandson and her dog and was my second movie poster. I used the mask tool to cut out both the boy and the dog and placed them on a cloud background. I modified the colors on both Mason and T-KO to ensure that they matched the background. Finally, to give the scene a little motion, I made duplicate layers of T-KO and Mason and then blurred the layers to create the illusion of movement. |

This was my final movie poster and I was graciously provided images by my co-worker Allan. I took three separate images of him and blended them together in one scene. I also added the shadows to Allan to help ground him to the scene. Finally, I replaced the non-existing sky with a more ominous one to complete the illusion of a seedy back alley complete with a nerd in work attire. |
