Temple Rendering This was the first model I ever did in Maya. Our class project was to create our own version of a temple. The vases were created using both Illustrator and Maya. I traced one edge of the vase in Illustrator, imported it into Maya and then used the Revolve command to complete the vase.
Bank Rendering Our second Maya project became a group project where three or four people got together and created their own version of a city block. We each created our buildings individually and then combined them together in one scene for the finished product.
Temple Rendering Two After my Maya Modeling class had ended, a friend of mine had asked me to put together a 3D temple for a story he was writing. Of course, I was more than happy to keep improving my skills.

The outside of the temple was created using a green marble texture. The words on the outside of the temple say 'Created by Jaime'.

The inside of the temple was meant to be very simple. It included a basic table that could have been used for rituals or for making magic potions. The sides included six (three on each side) lights to illuminate the room. The idea for the lights came from an ornate sconce I had seen once. I chose balls of light as the source to provide the illusion of the magic in the room.

Still Image: Forest and Rainbow During my second Maya class we concentrated on animation. We spent the entire semester going through the entire process of creating an animation much like they would at Pixar or Disney. The project was to pick a poem and then find a way to animate it. Creating this animation was a complicated process because we ended up using so many different programs such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects to create the end result.
